MediaWorld 2006

Overview: MediaWorld 2006 is an
advanced multimedia summer camp for High School students. Students will
attain valuable skills in advanced multimedia technology during the
completion of a short film project. Students will be expected to perform
on-location shoots while they complete their 20min documentary. Students
will work in small groups as they perform the different roles camera
technician, grip, producers, and/or director. Class will meet for 6 weeks,
5 days a week, 5 hours a day. Lunch will be provided. Bus fare and other
required transportation will be provided.

Fees: $175 per student ($35
non-refundable fee included)

Acceptance
requirements
- Completed application
(receipt of application and/or payment will be confirmed)
- High school student:
Ages 14-17 (grades 9-12th)
- High School
transcripts
- Letter of
recommendation from a teacher at current school
- Minimum GPA = 2.5 (B-)
- Demonstrated computer
proficiency. Multimedia and/or Video experience a plus.
Students accepted to the
program will receive a confirmation of their acceptance within 5 days of
the confirmation of the application. Payment is due immediately after
acceptance; applicants are subject to cancellation if payment is not
received within 5 days of acceptance.
